Gastonia, North Carolina. A local church, Myers Memorial UMC, had built a little “hut” off of Burtonwood Dr. and Cotton Blossom Circle which is now finishing its next evolution. Stocked with three washer dryer units, a shower, snacks and drinks this facility does something great for our unhoused North Carolinians by giving them that hand up and the dignity many of them seek on a day to day.
We are elated to share this with you all as an example of North Carolinians helping our fellows, this project is heralded by Reverend Andy Curtis, Drew Nix, and Sarah Davis.
